Automation Reimagined

Welcome to ISA’s Automation Summit & Expo - a transformative event designed for a diverse audience, where automation takes center stage.
Over the course of two days, immerse yourself in a world of endless possibilities and explore how automation is reshaping the future across various industries.

Day 1 Keynote
To Infinity and Beyond: Innovation in Spaceflight

Doug Hurley with helmet-1

Douglas Hurley
Retired Astronaut, NASA

Uniquely accomplished and decorated executive, astronaut, pilot and engineer with 30 years of specialized experience operating, managing and leading the most innovative aerospace and aviation technologies in service to NASA’s international space program and the U.S. Marine Corps. Doug has logged over 5,500 hours in more than 25 aircraft and two space vehicles.

A veteran of three spaceflights, most recently Doug served as Spacecraft Commander on the first crewed test flight of the SpaceX Dragon (2020), becoming one of the first two astronauts in history to launch aboard a commercial orbital spacecraft. This marked the first time in history that a private company (SpaceX) entirely developed a space system to send NASA astronauts to space. For five years leading up to its successful launch, he served as a liaison, consultant and test pilot on behalf of NASA to the company’s operations and development teams.

What People are Saying About...

“Being part of ISA is all about knowledge sharing, community and collaboration. The collaborative community sets ISA events apart – the event doesn’t ‘end’ because we stay in touch and continue to work throughout the year to help solve some of the big challenges in industrial automation and cybersecurity.”

“I like the networking aspect of the events, but I also think the technical content is very strong.”
John Cusimano

“I was able to meet other industry leaders and engage them in conversations with things that are meaningful as a system integrator.”
David Schultz

“Cybersecurity is really a team sport, so there needs to be more ongoing collaboration between product vendors and asset owners. This event provides just the right environment for these conversations.”
